Thupten's technical journey began in 2001, with academic pursuits in 3D animation at Square Pixel Studios and coding at the Combit Institute of Information Technology, India. He then went on to study filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. This unique combination of technical and creative skills has been a hallmark of his career.
Dedicated to community service, Thupten co-founded the Himalayan Elders Project in New York in 2012, the largest non-profit in North America serving seniors from the Himalayan community.
He serves as the Founder and Lead Developer of GunkTech, a company that specializes in crafting bespoke software solutions. Previously he has worked as the CTO of MediaKite, and consultant for Ubisoft Montreal.
